February 16, 2015 Family Science Night

Wayne Center welcomed Science Central on Monday evening.  They brought several exploration stations for families to enjoy.  The topic was --Science in Motion!  There was something for everyone! Students had a great time creating motion with chemistry and physics. They got to blow up a balloon with the power of chemistry; balance a paper clown on one finger, or even on their nose. At one station, students created two color polymers and watched as the colors collided and combined. Then the young scientists tried their hands at levitating magnets, moving cars mysteriously, and manipulating magnetic motion.  Who would have guessed science could be such fun!
Take a look...
