Tuesday, September 2, 2014 - Third graders take 2 Mad Minute facts tests each week. There are usually 30 problems for them to complete in a 2 minute time frame. Each student moves at their own rate through the concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percents. Each month, we take a picture to record and chart our progress. We use hundreds blocks to represent each of the Mad Minutes the students have passed. We also add Hippy Frog to our photo. :-)
As of August 29th, 26 students have passed 56 Mad Minute tests! YEA!!!! Great job 3rd graders!!!!
